MUSIC

The ability of music to reinforce linguistic structure through rhyme, rhythm, repetition is well known. The best songs also put the language into some emotional context, telling a story, making us laugh, moving us. 

Over the coming months I hope to post some original material on the site. For tasters, here is one track that I know has worked very well in the limited exposure it has had to my poor unfortunate students in KS2 KS3. It's a song on the theme of 'breakfast' with apologies to all serious musicians out there!
